Summary
Shrewsbury Colleges Group is Shropshire’s largest college. SCG is a designated sixth form college offering sixth form college terms and conditions. 2100 A-Level students are taught at our Welsh and English Bridge Campuses in the centre of Shrewsbury with our London Road Campus offering a broad range of vocational and higher-level courses to 2100 16-18 year olds, 4000 adult students, 300 HE students and 900 apprentices. Salary: £52,061 - £58,114 p.a. 1.0 FTE. Permanent. Based at HE Centre, London Road campus.
We are recruiting a Curriculum Director to join the college's Senior Curriculum Team following the retirement of the current post holder. The candidate appointed will be responsible for the co-ordination and growth of our college HE programmes, as well as ensuring the college meets the regulatory requirements of the higher education sector. The position requires extensive knowledge of the delivery of HE in an FE setting.
Our salary offer will reflect a candidates previous experience with opportunity to progress to the scale maximum (NB the salary is SCFA pay award pending). The successful applicant will have the opportunity to join the Teachers’ Pension Scheme and receive the College's generous manager leave entitlement of 45 days plus bank holidays.
Support for travel costs and accommodation will be provided to those travelling to interview and a relocation package is available.
