Summary
Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian curries and dishes following authentic recipes and techniques.
Ensure high standards of food hygiene and safety are maintained in the kitchen.
Adapt menus to include seasonal or special items as requested by the restaurant management.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all health and safety regulations.
Experiment with and develop new curry recipes to enhance the menu offerings.
Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards.
Manage portion control and ensure dishes are served according to restaurant specifications.
Work closely with the restaurant management to plan and coordinate special events or catering services.
Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the head chef or restaurant manager.
