Summary

Outreach Support WorkerSalary - £26,000 - £28,000Closing Date: 13/10/2024 Interview W/C 21/10/2024Based in Kidderminster, the CPA provides high quality education to pupils between the ages of 11 to 17yrs, to reengage some of the most vulnerable and disillusioned learners across Wyre Forrest, Hagley and Dudley.
This role requires the post holder to have a passion for making a difference to the lives of young people with Social, Emotional or Mental Health needs (SEMH) that often come from vulnerable and challenging backgrounds that impact on their ability to access education. The postholder will need to be able to quickly build strong relationships with a wide variety of children, be able to connect with people from different backgrounds, cultures and perspectives whilst understanding their needs, motivations and expectations.
Our school is an inclusive and supportive environment, focusing on the well-being of all pupils and the school staff as well as positive outcomes that prepare our young people for the world after school. The post holder will support our pupils to overcome all barriers to accessing education. This may include any known trauma or adverse childhood experiences. This will involve working with families and supporting external agencies and other professionals to understand how to work with the pupil to reach their full potential in the education setting and the wider community.
The right person for this role will need to be adaptable, resilient and passionate that all young people should receive the support they need in order to reach their full potential.
