Summary
The remit of the post holder will be to work within the multidisciplinary team providing and further developing care for patients presenting to Neuroradiology and to provide support for the existing neurointerventional and diagnostic services. The individual will be required to play an active role in the general workload of the department including the out of ours provision of emergency aneurysm treatment and Mechanical thrombectomy for stroke. Commitment to teaching and training of junior staff is also encouraged. The post will have an on-call commitment to provide a neurointerventional service and the post holder will be expected to contribute to the performance and governance agenda of the division.
