About Us
The Network Management Service includes three teams: NetworkCoordination, Civil Parking Enforcement and Traffic Control.TheNetwork Coordination function ensures the smooth running of the network,coordinates utility, developer and private work on the highway, managesperformance and minimises disruption to the travelling public, under theOxfordshire Permit Scheme.
About the Role
We are looking for 3 Officers within the Network CoordinationTeam to undertake inspections of streetworks to ensure works comply with theOxfordshire Permit Schemeconditions, the New Roads & Street Works Actand Codes of Practice.
The posts will report directly to area Senior Officers and theTeamLeader – (Operations) Network Coordination and will providesupport to Senior Officers in meeting inspection targets (A/B & C Inspections), Raising S74 charges, FPNs to maximise compliance on the network. You will also assist with co-ordination of works plus supervision and mentoring of Assistant Officers
About you
You should have experience in the role of Streetworks Officersand hold a LANTRA Ch8 SLG qualification and NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor Card(or be prepared to undertake it). You will have a sound knowledge of thelatest legislative requirements as they relate to NRSWA.Be able towork on initiative and alone, Ideally you will have previous experience ofworking at a similar level in Local Government or a Utility.
Staff will be based at various locations across the Countyincluding Ron Groves House in Kidlington, which is the base of operations,although we are currently working remotely.
