Summary

If you are a paralegal with a minimum of 1 years' worth of litigation experience, I am instructed with an excellent opportunity for any candidates within commutable distance of York or within the North Yorkshire area at a highly regarded legal practice. This role is a varied litigation role covering various practice areas and offers a unique opportunity for aspiring litigators to gain experience working in various different workstreams on behalf of various clients of all shapes and sizes.

Candidates can expect to be involved in a wide range of cases which will include (but will not be limited to) contract disputes, negligence and tort cases, contentious private client work (wills/trusts and probate disputes), consumer rights disputes and various other bespoke matters that require alternative dispute resolutions or mediations.

This is a role that is mainly office based and therefore candidates will need to be based within commutable distance of York, more specifically the area of Clifton Moor. As the role progresses, my client fully intends to offer the successful candidate a hybrid working arrangement. However, any candidates applying for the role should expect to be in the office on a regular basis all the way through their probationary period.

Candidates will need to have a previous background in litigation (either civil and/or commercial) and must be willing to learn from an experienced team. This role will only be suitable for someone with a keen ambition to grow as a litigator and for someone who is prepared to take on matters outside their existing comfort zone to grow their knowledge and expand their skill set.
