At The Myton Hospices, we provide specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their loved ones, from the point of diagnosis to end of life. We are a much-loved and well supported charity, at the heart of our community. We have three hospices, a range of community services, and 25 charity shops in Coventry and Warwickshire.

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for two Assistant Shop Managers to join our team, supporting our charity shops in Warwickshire. You’ll support the smooth running of our profitable charity shops, ensuring a brilliant shopping experience.

Our Assistant Shop Managers:

- Lead and recruit volunteers
- Generate high-quality stock donations
- Support with administration
- Handle cash, stock deliveries and collections
- Maximise sales through Gift Aid and our fundraising lottery

This role will support our work by bringing in essential income that funds the care of 1 in 4 of our patients.

About you:

We would love to hear from you if you have:

- Retail experience
- Experience of leading a team of volunteers
- Confidence in calculating figures and working with financial targets

An enhanced DBS check including the children’s barred list will be required for this role, because it involves supervising volunteers under the age of 16.

Other roles you may have experience of could include: Retail Manager; Supervisor; Relief Manager.
