Salary: £32,217 - £48,516 (pro-rata for part time)
Hours: 19.84 per week
Working pattern: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
An exciting opportunity has arisen in Corstorphine Primary School for an exceptional Teacher to join a job share in one of our three P7 classes.
Corstorphine Primary School and Nursery are situated in the vibrant village of Corstorphine within the City of Edinburgh. The school roll is currently 578 with a capacity for 100 children in the nursery. The local community plays an important role in our curriculum from Nursery to P7.
We strive to create a nurturing and safe environment where our children lead their own learning and develop as individuals in a supportive and challenging ethos. We provide a stimulating environment for children to create, explore and learn through play so they develop a love of learning as their understanding of the world around them grows.

Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
