Summary
Disability Services is responsible for delivering services to millions of disabled customers across a product portfolio made up of Personal Independence Payment, Access to Work, Disability Living Allowance and Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit.

In your membership of Senior Leadership Team you will role model exceptional leadership, working flexibly across boundaries, building capability in line with Professional Standards and undertaking regular activity to build and sustain engagement.
Be a resourceful, self-starting leader with experience of delivering excellent customer service in a fast paced environment and leading large commands to deliver high levels of performance.
To be an active member of your Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the wider Departmental agendas and providing visible, accessible and effective senior leadership, taking a personal lead in communicating messages with clarity and conviction.
Deliver a quality, customer focused agenda developed as a result of listening to our customers. Improving the customer journey and experience through quality and continuous improvement test and learn activities.
To develop and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders, including Directors and key partners/stakeholders, to develop stronger working across DWP to create powerful, purposeful partnerships.
Demonstrate strong and effective change management; and be accountable for the delivery and quality of activity in your area.
Contributing to business and people planning activities, ensuring appropriate and effective deployment of people and resources. Effectively managing and flexing resources to manage demand versus supply gaps.
Creating a coaching culture and using data and analytics curiously to effectively manage performance, fully embedding the principles of Insight Performance Excellence.
Confidently leading through ambiguity, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing direction and priorities. Positively, motivating, inspiring, encouraging and influencing others.
