About Us:
Morgan Hunt is currently working with a leading Scottish hotel and hospitality business to recruit a Management Accountant. This company is a leading provider of exceptional hospitality experiences across Scotland. With a commitment to excellence, they offer a diverse range of accommodation and services to their valued guests. We are seeking a talented and experienced Management Accountant to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, including monthly management accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Oversee financial controls and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant on the job experience.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) or qualification by experience would be preferred.
- Proven experience in a management accounting role within the hospitality industry although not compulsory would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Sage 200).
- Attention to detail and accuracy.

This role is based on-site on a full-time basis in Cumnock, Ayrshire. To be considered for this role you will ideally be based in a commutable distance to Cumnock or be prepared to commute there throughout the working week.
