Summary
Care Support Worker (Personal Assistant)
Location: Elgin, IV30 6YQ.
Salary: £12.00 per hour.
Contract: Part time - 16 or 24 hours / week. Various shift pattern including weekend work and overnight support.

Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes - whatever they may be!
In Elgin we have 6 individuals who live in their independent bungalows requiring full support. They are unique and amazing each in their own way. It is our responsibility to ensure they have the best possible life they can and are supported to achieve the goals they are working towards. We are recruiting for bespoke members of staff for each team in line with our PA Model. Let me introduce you to a couple of people we support and hopefully you think you would be a match.
First lets talk about Lenny:
Lenny has a passion for dinosaurs, the great outdoors, and nature. He spends one day a week at an outdoor day centre, he volunteers at a local charity shop and one of his favourite past times is searching for the best bargains, he is always looking for different flavours of Fox's biscuits to try.
Lenny is incredibly kind and caring and likes to get to know his staff team and build strong relationships with them. He prefers it if they share one of his passions with him and gains a lot from an in-depth conversation about said subject.
We also have Ruth:
Ruth has a busy week working Monday to Friday 9am - 3.30pm. When she isn't at work she receives support in the evenings and at the weekend. Ruth is a social butterfly. She loves being out and about catching up with friends, hanging out at the local bowling alley and having fun at community discos.
At home Ruth is a fierce competitor at the game frustration and enjoys funny programmes such as Mr Bean. She relies on her staff team for emotional support but also to have fun and be silly with.
