The Rainbow Creche is a childcare setting based in Ely in the West of Cardiff providing high quality care for up to 20 children daily.
The crèche was registered in 2005 with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) as a provider of low-cost affordable childcare. We offer places under the 'Flying Start Scheme', for children aged 2-3 years as well as spaces for direct access i.e. anyone who wants to pay for creche access without advance booking.
You will be joining a small but very friendly team as a Creche Worker and your key responsibilities will be: Responsibilities:
Helping with the day to day running of the creche
Supporting the children and your fellow team members in providing an exciting and stimulating activity programme
Supporting your team members in providing personal care for the children
To be successful in this role you should demonstrate:
Have at least 1 years’ experience in a childcare setting. This could be employed, voluntary or as a student or apprentice.
Ideally hold a Cache Level 3 Qualification in Childcare Learning and Development or equivalent (recognised in Wales) or
Cache level 2 in Childcare, learning and Development (or equivalent) but must be prepared to train to Level 3
