Summary

Job Title: CNC Turner Setter

Job Type: Days based, Perm

Location: Birmingham

Hours: 07:45-16:45 Monday to Thursday and Friday 07:45-12:45

Pay: £13-£15ph DOE

In 1914 our client started their business from a small workshop in Birmingham and over the decades that have followed the company has continued to grow and diversify, making investment across CNC machinery, Electroplating, CAD design facilities, MRP & CRM systems, along with our continued training for all our personnel.
Due to continued success, they are looking to add another CNC Turner to their work family.

Responsibilities
* Mechanical set up of turning centres for small batch runs
* Machines include Nakamura AS200MSY, Mazak QTN200MSY, Citizen L32
* Measurement of machined parts and adjustment of offsets to ensure the accuracy of the finished components
* Monitoring of part quality throughout production runs
* Cleanliness and housekeeping on the section

Requirements
* Experienced at setting and adjusting CNC turning centres and/or sliding head lathes
* Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and dimensional tolerances
* Good communication with team members and management
* Meticulous approach to accuracy and quality
