Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing procedures.
Duties
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on business requirements
- Conduct manual and automated testing using tools like Cucumber
- Develop test strategy and framework using Cypress or Selenium
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve software defects
- Perform database testing using PL/SQL with databases such as MongoDB
- Participate in DevOps practices to enhance software quality
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and testing phases
- Experience in testing web applications utilising technologies like JSP, CSS
- Utilise version control systems like GitHub and GitLab for code management
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Knowledge of business requirements analysis to ensure effective testing strategies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
