Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualifications / experience.GCSE Grade C / 4 or above in Maths and English.
Evidence of a commitment to further professional development.
Previous expertise working with children in a primary setting.
An understanding of safeguarding in a primary school.
In addition, the TA might have experience of:
- Working in partnership with parents.
- Working with children with specific SEN such as ADHD or Dyslexia.
- Working with children with SEMH needs.
- Working with children with EAL needs.
-Developing and implementing IEPs and care plans.

The postholder may also supervise whole classes occasionally during the short-term absence of Teachers, when the primary focus will be to maintain good order and to keep pupils on task.
