We are delighted to be recruiting for an enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join our fantastic team at Poole High School. Physical Education is a thriving and successful subject area, and a popular option choice at GCSE. The energy and enthusiasm in the department is palpable. Poole High School is fortunate to have many high-quality sport facilities which include a swimming pool, fully equipped gym, climbing wall and extensive external grounds. Extra-curricular activities including clubs and sporting events are an important part of our school.
We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity:
• To assist in the development of resources, schemes of work, marking policies and teaching strategies in an identified curriculum area
• To contribute to the school development plan and its implementation
• To plan and prepare and lessons
• To contribute to the whole school’s planning activities
• To run after school clubs
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies
