Summary
Lancashire Sock Manufacturing Company in Bacup are recruiting for a Technical Trainee. The successful candidate will work towards their Level 2 General Manufactoring qualification which will take approximntaley 14 months to complete.
Duties:
• Working in the Laboratory, Production and Office
• Adhering to Health and Safety, Quality Control
• Production Costings
• Operating machinery such as foaming plant
• Manual handling
• Learning all aspects of the factory from sweeping up, loading vehicles, running machines
• Pricing costings for products
• Seeing the theoretical work and seeing it through to full scale production.
• Using a Word Excel spreadsheet
• Problem solving
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a minimum of ALevel/Btec or a Degree in Chemistry. Must also have physics and maths qualifications.
• Experience in the rubber latex technology would be an advantage
• Must be hands on and open to learning all aspects of a manufacturing company.
Grades:
• Candidates must have a minimum of ALevel/Btec or a Degree in Chemistry. Must also have physics and maths qualifications.

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. 30 mins un paid. 40 hours per week.
