Summary
My Client is an online engineering college with online engineering courses at level 4, 5 and 6.
They deliver their course material in a manner to allow the students to work in their own time and pace, via bite-size learning steps utilising a combination of reading, videos and worked examples.
About the Job
This is for a fixed term contract for the production of distance learning material for Mechanical Engineering related content.
However, the selected candidate may also be offered an on-going part-time contract for the support and assessment of learner work.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a new and dynamic distance learning company, and represents an opportunity to grow in to an expanding role over time.
About the Right Candidate
You must have:
- experience teaching Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering either at at college or university level within the UK education system
- a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree or above
Responsibilities
In the first instance, this will be a fixed short-term contract for the creation of learning material suitable for distance learning in mechanical engineering. However, my client are keen to find a suitable person to provide on-going support to learners and marking of assignments etc and so further opportunities are possible for the right candidate.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required as a minimum qualification.
Higher Degree desirable.
