Summary

The Vehicle Valeter is responsible for cleaning and preparing vehicles for customer delivery. This includes cleaning the exterior and interior of vehicles and ensuring they meet the company’s high standards of presentation.


Day-to-day duties but not limited to
You will report to the Valeting Manager
Clean the exterior and interior of vehicles to the highest standards
Vacuum and shampoo carpets and upholstery
Detailing of vehicles
Inspect vehicles for any damage and report any issues to your line manager
Follow health and safety regulations when working with chemicals and materials
Assist in ensuring completion of jobs in allocated job times


Essential skills and Experience
Experience in automotive detailing preferred
Ability to work quickly and accurately
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of automotive detailing products and techniques
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Excellent communication and customer service skills
To be effective in this role, you will have knowledge of the cleaning and preparation of vehicles and be well organised, with the ability to work well to deadlines. We can offer polishing and detailing training as part of the role.


Personal Circumstances
Full UK/EU Driving Licence
Eligible to work in the UK



What we offer
Hourly Rate: £12.00
Typical working hours: 08:00 – 4:30pm Monday to Friday
Annual holiday entitlement in any holiday year is 28 days, inclusive of all public holiday entitlement. Following the completion of 5 years’ continuous service, holiday entitlement will increase by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 33 days inclusive of bank holidays.
Pension 5% employee and 3% employer contribution
