We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Practitioner for Baby Room

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 PA + 35 to 45 days paid holidays + free lunch daily!!

Location - Maida Vale, London W9

Hours: 40 / week including paid breaks and Early Finish on Fridays at 1.30pm!!

You’ll need to be highly committed to providing children with the very best care and education. You’ll also have to be keen to progress and develop your own knowledge and skills and work as part of a team.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of EYFS, an understanding of children’s development and have minimum Level 3 in Childcare & Education.

Your main duties as an Early Years Practitioner would be:
• Provide high quality care and activities for the children and to recognise both individual and group requirements in a secure, safe and stimulating environment.
• Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and any other appropriate guidance for young children in accordance with nursery policy and guidelines.
• Observe each child’s progress and report on achievements, looking for progression and continuity alongside the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Participate in the key person system and be responsible for a group of children. Monitor, assess, record and report on their development and progress.
• Work in partnership with parents/carers, recognising that parents are their children’s first educators, and encourage parental involvement in the nursery.
• Assist and attend parents’ meetings and open days.
• Help Maintain the safety and security of all children, employees and visitors to the Nursery.
• Help carry out regular assessments to ensure all Nursery Health and Safety procedures are followed.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the children and their surroundings at all times.

Qualifications & Experience required for Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Practitioner :
• Level 3 in Childcare & Education or
• Level 2 with Baby Room experience
• A firm understanding of the EYFS framework
• Experience and knowledge of safeguarding practice
