Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at Windmill nursery, Ramsey for 3 evenings, which will be 6 hours per week. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming, safe, and presentable for both staff and visitors. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality are crucial for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness throughout the premises.
- Clean and sanitise rooms, kitchens, and communal areas, ensuring all surfaces are hygienic and well-maintained.
- Dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained, notifying management when replenishment is needed.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and management.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment is beneficial.
