TeacherActive is delighted to partner with a mixed co-ed school in search of a dedicated long-term English Teacher. The school, rated 'GOOD' by OFSTED, offers excellent transport links and convenient staff parking. This role has the potential for permanency and will initially focus on Key Stage 3, with opportunities to extend to Key Stage 5. Main Duties & Responsibilities:• Stay updated with educational developments and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
• Prepare students for exams and encourage career-focused and employability skills.
• Contribute to the school's science curriculum and support both the personal and academic development of pupils.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Experience teaching English Language, and/or English Literature up to Key Stage 5.
• Strong classroom management and presence.
