This Psychology graduate Learning Support Assistant is a great opportunity for a future clinical, educational or child psychologist to gain an invaluable experience within a mainstream school and to support multiple learners with SEN needs.

This wonderful and forward-thinking school is hoping to find and energetic and friendly psychology graduate to join the school team from September. As a Psychology graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will be placed within a classroom and have the responsibilities of supporting the work of the class teacher. You will directed, but will eventually learn to respond, to the needs of learners within the classroom and will gain experience with many SEN learners – ASD, EBD, S&L, Dyspraxia, ADHD, and more…

The school is a 1960’s build school that has been sympathetically updated to meet the needs of the modern curriculum. The school supports the development of circa 400 learners - there are over 15 languages celebrated within this rich learning environment. As a centre of the community the school offers the wider community a chance to support the plans of the school – the school hosts a market every weekend and offers adult learning and development opportunities – yoga, karate, adult literacy and more.
