Summary
Babington Dressage are considering applicants who have experience with handling competition horses. The successful candidates duties will include all general yard duties, such as:
Mucking out
Preparing and proving feed
Exercising horses
Preparing horses for competition
Grooming
General yard tasks
The apprenticeship is based onsite therefore there isn't much classroom work. If you didn't gain your GCSE grades in Maths & English, we can support you whilst on programme..

Training
All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.
Qualifications required
A GCSE or equivalent pass in English and maths is beneficial but not essential. If you do not have passes, we will support you in achieving your Functional Skills English and maths qualifications alongside your apprenticeship.
Skills required
Ability to fit competition horses and youngsters.
Prospects
Babington Dressage have committed to teaching the successful candidate how to turn out to a high standard and there may be opportunity to experience Federation Equestre Internationale competitions.
