Consultant Ecologist

Our vision is to remain at the forefront of ecological consultancy; leading our clients in the protection of the natural environment and ensuring that the development of the built environment seeks to enhance biodiversity and contribute to the halt of climate change.
To independently undertake a range of ecological site assessments and protected species surveys; manage projects of various complexities; engage and liaise with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders; prepare and issue high-quality reports.
Requirements:
• Two or more years’ experience in the delivery of ecological services within the UK.
• Understanding of relevant wildlife legislation and planning policy across the UK.
• Ability to communicate well.
• Project management experience.
• Experience of ECoW duties.
Contract type and hours: Full time, permanent (subject to 6 months probationary period); 37.5 hours per week
