Summary
Matthew Stevens Furniture in Blackburn are recruiting for an Apprentice Furniture Manufacturer. The successful candidate will work towards a level 2 Furniture Manufacturer qualification over the duration of 24 months.
Job Details:
• Production of hand crafted furniture
• Using a variety of woodworking machines
• Assembly of Bespoke Units
• Attaching Fixtures and Fittings
• Finishing Furniture
• Working to Health and Safety regulations
Requirements:
• Will attend the Centre of Excellence (COVE) in Accrington on a bi-weekly basis
GCSE Requirements:
• Good GCSE grades would be an advantage
Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, 45 minutes for lunch, 2 x 15 minute breaks, 37.5 hours per week
