Location: Darwen, Lancashire
Pay: £11.72 - £12.78 per hour (Actual: £20,941.30 - £22,835.30, depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week - Term Time Only

We're on the hunt for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant (Level 1-2) to join our awesome team in Darwen, where you'll be helping students aged 10-19 with Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, and more. Get ready to bring your creativity, compassion, and dedication to a role that's all about helping students shine!

What You'll Be Doing:

Support their learning - Help plan lessons and activities that are as unique as our students!
Celebrate progress - Provide feedback and help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
Be their champion - Adapt support to their individual needs, while encouraging independence and positivity.
Keep things running smoothly - Help with behaviour management and ensure everything is on track with school policies.
Make it fun - Create a safe, exciting space where students feel encouraged to be their best selves!

What You'll Need:
  • Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) students
  • A full UK driving licence (You'll be helping with student transport, so it's essential!)
  • GCSE Maths & English at Grade C/Level 2 or above
  • Level 2 qualification in Teaching and Learning Support (desirable, but not a dealbreaker!)
  • A deep understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Creativity, adaptability, and a whole lot of patience!
