Summary

We have an opportunity for two full time Payment Officers to join our Finance Team in Oldham. This is a fixed term contract for six months. The role is full-time, Monday – Friday and we are currently on a hybrid work model.

Reporting to the Payments Manager, you will ensure that internal and external queries are resolved promptly. You will support the delivery of key functions such as transaction processing, payment runs, and managing payable ledgers.

What we’re looking for

We’re a customer-focused organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You’ll not only be experienced in accounts payables, but you’ll also have great attention to detail and accurately maintain financial information. You’ll also be able to demonstrate:

Proven customer service experience.
A commitment to teamwork and the ability to adapt to change and be flexible.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Good oral and written communication.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Essential Qualifications:

Level 2 (GCSE C+ or equivalent) Maths and English.
