Summary
We are leaders in this field and one of the largest electrical testing companies with an excellent reputation. Hawkesworth prides itself in maintaining strong partnerships with contractors and we now are looking for self-employed PAT Engineers to undertake regular work on our behalf [across the North East]
Based from home, you will be travelling to carry out portable appliance testing at a variety of sites and environments therefore a good knowledge of your local area will be a distinct advantage. This is a hands-on role that will suit someone who is reliable, has excellent customer service skills, can work using their own initiative and is prepared to represent our Company values and ethos.
You will need to have a certificate in past testing, (ideally C&G 2377) or appropriate experience, insurance and a means of transport. A full testing kit is available on a rental basis and you will have the full support and back up from our head office team. Additional experience or qualifications such as emergency lighting would also be an advantage.
If you do not have the required qualification to carry out work for us speak to your local Job Centre as they may be able to support you in acquiring this. The course is a 2 day course and there are training center's located in the North East.
