Temporary position for up to 9 months

We have an opportunity for a Income Officer
- Local Operations to join our Income team, based in Basildon. As a member of the Income Services team your role will involve managing income and debt recovery functions.
The role of Income Officer
- Local Operations will include:
- Proactively manage rent accounts and deliver the aims and objectives of Swans rent recovery policy using enforcement action where necessary
- To provide high quality and prompt housing management service to Sanctuary's customers and ensure tenancy conditions are enforced
- Support the day to day delivery of excellent customer service functions within income services
- Raise the profile of Sanctuary's services and ensure improved customer satisfaction


Skills and experiences:

- Proven experience of administration relating to customer service and complaints


- Able to take ownership, use own initiative and deliver excellent customer service
- Excellent organisation skills and a keen eye for detail
- Knowledge of income recovery and maximisation strategies along with experience of possession proceedings and presenting cases at court
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
