Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive condition surveys of buildings to assess their current state.
Prepare detailed written reports outlining the findings of inspections and assessments.
Identify issues and recommend appropriate maintenance or remediation solutions.
Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations and legislation during surveys.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on building condition.
Liaise with other professionals such as architects and engineers to address building concerns.
Monitor repair and maintenance work to ensure it meets specified standards and project timelines.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in building surveying or a similar role.
Strong understanding of building regulations, codes, and compliance standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate building conditions.
Proficient in writing detailed and clear technical reports.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
