Summary

An exciting opportunity awaits at one of the world's largest insurance brokers, ho are looking for a Professional Indemnity (PI) Insurance specialist to join them as a PI Client Executive.

Reporting into the Edinburgh office, but working in either Glasgow, Manchester, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Bristol, London, or Leeds on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office). You will work alongside the corporate team following up on their new business leads which they will pass over to you to address their clients PI insurance needs who are typically UK domicile businesses outside the FTSE 100.

Working collaboratively in an experienced team, this role is distinctively more technical than sales-oriented. It involves direct client interaction and market engagement, requiring a keen understanding of Underwriters' quotes, risk assessment, and technical insights to ensure appropriate coverage for clients. The business classifies these interactions as "shared accounts," emphasizing collaborative efforts, such as with major contractors, where teamwork is essential.

While your client base spans the UK, the role predominantly involves office and remote work, with video meetings being the norm, occasionally complemented by face-to-face interactions 1-2 times a month. The annual caseload is approximately 60-70 cases, and administrative tasks are streamlined, with a dedicated Client Manager handling them, allowing you to focus solely on client engagement.

The ideal candidate should exude confidence, possess PI insurance expertise, and be adept at navigating challenging conversations with clients. This role is well-suited for individuals in similar positions, perhaps dealing with SME cases, seeking involvement in larger, more complex risks. Alternatively, it may appeal to Account Handlers, Client Advisors, or Client Managers aspiring to transition into a more client-facing role.
