Located in the heart of Sidmouth, our swimming pool is a vital part of the community. It’s more than just a place to swim—it’s a
hub for wellness, connection, and personal growth. Whether it’s swimming lessons, aqua aerobics, or our accessible Poolpod, we
ensure everyone can join in. Our water is always kept at a comfortable 29.5°C to 30°C, perfect for all—from beginners and seasoned
swimmers to families.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

* Qualifications: You must hold a Swim England or STA Level 2 Swimming Teaching Qualification.
* Commitment to Safety: You’re dedicated to ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all swimmers.
* Strong Communicator: You engage effectively with swimmers of all ages and maintain clear communication with parents.
* Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable managing registers and using electronic devices to keep everything running smoothly.
* Proactive Attitude: You’re always looking to improve, whether through training or staying current with compliance.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

* Expertise: A solid foundation in swimming instruction with the necessary qualifications to match.
* Calm Under Pressure: You stay composed and confident in emergencies, handling challenging situations with ease.
* Motivational Skills: You have a natural ability to encourage and inspire swimmers to do their best.
* Experience (Preferred): Previous teaching experience is a plus, and additional qualifications like R.L.S.S. National Pool
Lifeguard or First Aid Certificate will help set you apart.
* Dedication: You’re committed to continuous improvement, for both yourself and your learners.
