ROLE: Duty Solicitor
LOCATION: Leeds Office/Hybrid
Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 annually
Responsibilities:
- Represent defendants during hearings at the magistrates' court, often in the early stages of criminal proceedings.
- Offer guidance on criminal charges, the strength of the evidence, and potential consequences.
- Defend clients at bail hearings, first appearances, and sometimes during sentencing.
About you:
- A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 3 years PQE in Criminal Law.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work within the team as required
