The role
We are currently looking to recruit a full time Cash & Banking Administrator to join the Finance and Treasury team.
Within the role you will cover all company bank accounts and other related finance activities, deliver excellent customer service in an accurate and complete manner with timely processing. You will maintain and reconcile all cash & banking and related transactions in the financial system and relevant ledgers.
You will work collaboratively to resolve root cause issues and improve on processes to improve service delivery.
The role is hybrid, therefore, the successful candidate will be required to attend team meetings at our head office in Birmingham as required and to work from the office as well as working remotely.
What we’re looking for
The essential requirements for the role include:
• Excellence working in fast paced, high-volume environment and delivery of excellent customer service
• Housing and care sectors experience
• Experience of the best practise cashbook, banking, ledger, finance related responsibilities and delivery of improvements
• Good understanding of double entry accounting and basic ledger management
• Financial/banking/payment controls and safeguards/fraud prevention
• Financial/banking systems with numerous interfaces from feeder systems
• Confidentiality and data protection legislation
