Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Intelligence and Provider Collaborative Analyst to join the Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) Commissioning Team under the new Lead Provider Collaboratives (LPC); Cheshire and Merseyside CYPMHS Collaborative and the North West Adult Eating Disorder Collaborative. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic applicant to lead on data extraction, analytics and scrutiny of people accessing specialised mental health services as part of the LPCs.

50% of this role sits within the Commissioning Team at CWP who are striving to be innovative, collaborative and outcomes focused as a commissioning function and this role provides a cornerstone to achieve this. The other 50% will sit within the Business Intelligence team working on a range of new projects and the continual rollout of PowerBI.

You will play a lead role within both the Business Intelligence and LPC teams in relation to data sourcing from the Trusts Enterprise Data Warehouse working closely with the Data Engineering and Modelling to design, develop and support data structures enabling the design and build of technological reporting solutions and visualisations.

Educated to degree level with advanced level skills in Microsoft SQL Server RDBMS, advanced level skill in SQL/TSQL and PowerBI.

Duties:

You will play a lead role in building effective relationships within the Trust and LPC and support the development of a continuous improvement culture, through the delivery of high-quality performance data and information. This is an important role, in which you will be responsible for data quality and benchmarking as well as ensuring information is reported accurately, consistently, and effectively for performance reporting and providing information that supports business decisions. You will be involved in analysis, ad hoc reporting, root cause analysis of key issues for the Trust, and production of various performance papers and reports.

You will need to have excellent knowledge of data analysis and strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to be able to demonstrate proven experience working in an information-related role and in extracting information from a variety of systems. NHS information management experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

Experience of using Microsoft SQL Server RDBMS and SQL/TSQL at an advanced level are essential, as well as a strong working knowledge of PowerBI. Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) is desirable as well as Data Modelling and Development Lifecycle principle.

You will provide information to Executive leads within the organisation consequently, excellent reporting and interpersonal skills are required, as is a professional approach.
