Summary


The post holder will lead the delivery of the Martha’s rule improvement programme workstreams in alignment with the Trust’s Strategic Priorities. The core elements of the role include:

· Project and programme management

· Service improvement and redesign skills

· Facilitation and communication expertise

· Building staff capability for improvement through training, coaching, and mentoring.

The exact nature of day-day tasks depends on the stages of the workstreams. However, all workstreams will involve updating project documentation, facilitating conversations and workshops, and the use of quality improvement tools and methodologies.

The Patient Safety Team is a corporate service established to support the Trust in delivering our strategic vision for patient safety using insight, involvement and improvement. This post focusses on improvement through a structured programme of improvement, innovation and service re-design.

The post holder is responsible for delivery of Martha’s Rule across UHBW but the role involves close working with colleagues at NBT to align the implementation of Martha’s Rule across both Trusts.
