The Southampton Children's Hospital team are delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity to join the Education team as a higher level administrator. If you are an experienced and motivated individual then we would love to hear from you.

Southampton Children's Hospital supports families with emergency care needs, highly specialist treatments and pioneering care with an excellent national and international reputation.

We deliver local and specialist services through 10 wards including specialist centres for paediatric oncology and paediatric cardiac.

The education team are responsible for delivering an extensive programme of training and development to staff and students locally and specialist courses to the wider region. This role provides administrative oversight including the financial aspects of these programmes. It involves collaboration with the clinical team of nurse educators, nurses, doctors, specialist nurses and the senior management team as well as liaising with universities, other hospital trusts and the operational delivery network (ODN).

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following;
Use innovative ways to capture data regarding education and be able to interpret and share this data with the clinical teams to help influence the education strategy set out by the education lead nurse.
Work well under pressure to meet the deadlines dictated by the wide range of courses we deliver.
Communicate effectively with a range of clinical teams which will support education delivery locally and to the wider region.
