Secondary School in Middlesbrough – Up to £470 per week

A large and diverse secondary school in Middlesbrough is seeking a dedicated Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role involves working closely with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing both academic and emotional support to help them thrive in the school environment. You will work alongside teachers and SEN coordinators, offering personalised assistance to students with a variety of needs, including complex learning difficulties, ASD, and behavioural challenges.

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role:

    As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the educational and personal development of students with Special Educational Needs. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing in-class support, assisting with differentiated learning activities, and helping to create a positive and inclusive environment where students can reach their full potential. You will also work with students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, offering tailored support that addresses their specific challenges, whether academic or behavioural.
