The Governors and Head Teacher of Hylton Red House Nursery School are seeking to appoint an outstanding and inspiring qualified teacher (QTS), passionate in delivering the early years curriculum.
We are a maintained nursery school consistently graded as outstanding. We provide a caring, nurturing community for all children and their families whilst developing a love of learning through a rich and varied curriculum.
As the only teacher other than the Headteacher, we will expect the successful candidate to be suitably experienced and competent in working with early years. We can offer teaching experience across the broader 0 to 5 age range and a comprehensive programme of professional development. We will expect the successful candidate to demonstrate commitment to improving their own practice, working collaboratively with wider professional partners and networks beyond the classroom to raise standards.
We are looking for a teacher who knows that they want to work with young children; who is passionate about inclusion and equal opportunity for all, and can rise to the challenge of promoting the very best early yearsandrsquo; experience for all children.
The post holder will understand and demonstrate their responsibility to safeguarding children.
The successful applicant will:
Have high expectations and aspirations for all children
Demonstrate a sound understanding of EYFS practice and know how to use this to motivate and enthuse learners
Be committed, display good interpersonal skills and be able to work collaboratively within this well-established team
Establish a happy, safe and inclusive learning environment
Understand the importance of promoting a high sense of wellbeing for all
Be a positive and professional role model to children, staff and the wider school community
work collaboratively with wider professional partners and networks beyond the classroom to raise standards
