Main Duties and Responsibilities: • Providing support and developing strong links between families and school, to improve attendance and educational outcomes for pupils • Improving attendance where pupils are able to attend school by working with the pupil and family • Improving provision for pupils not able to attend school but on roll and not provided for by the hospital school • Improving transition back into school when pupils return from a prolonged absence – supporting both the pupil directly and indirectly by supporting staff • Improving provision for disadvantaged pupils by supporting parental engagement and management of children’s behaviour at home Please refer to the Job Description and Person Specification attached to support with your application
