Summary



The East of EnglandRegionalMentalHealthTeam are looking to recruit a Business Support Officerto work as part of a dynamicprogramme management officedelivering an effective service supportingthemanagers andstaff across theRegional MentalHealthTeam. The post holder will provide a comprehensive, professional, effectivebusinessand administration serviceand work as part of the mental health team PMO / business office. Therole is a hybrid postion partlybased in Fulbourn, Cambridgeand partly home based. Full time office based working will also be considered.








As the Mental Health Business Support Officer the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the Regional Mental Health Team.

The post holder will provide comprehensive secretarial, administrative and support services to the mental health team PMO / business office. The post holder will need to display a considerable degree of initiative, apply a high degree of confidentiality, possess mature judgement and embody the values of NHSE. They will provide high quality project, service, initiative and administrative support including information and analysis. Whilst also undertaking reporting and analysis of information to support delivery.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.

Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.



In particular the post holder will:
• Be a key member of the team as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally.
• Provide administrative support toboth theHead ofMental HealthTeamandthedeputy headon aday-to-daybasisas needed.

• Plan and organise meetings or events andassistin the diary management requirements of individuals in connection withtheportfolio of work.

• Support training and induction of staff.

• Communicate information and issues, including briefings and reports.

• Support implementation of project, service, initiative throughtimelyand relevant information analysis and administrative support,in accordance withthe agreed priorities of the team.

• Take responsibility formaintaininghigh standardsof business administration across theRegionalMentalHealthTeam through the provision and training and ongoing development of administration staff.

• Be flexible and adaptable, and able to work in a matrix environment.
