We are currently working with a supportive and dynamic educational institution committed to the well-being and success of its students.
They are looking for a dedicated Educational Welfare Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support student attendance and punctuality.
  • Conduct occasional home visits to engage with families and address attendance issues.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support student welfare.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on student attendance and welfare.
  • Provide advice and support for students and families to overcome barriers to education.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service is essential.
  • Willingness to conduct home visits as part of the role.
