Summary


We are looking for a values-driven, compassionate, and capable senior leader with a proven commitment to advancing patient-centred care across Oncology services. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative clinical practices within a fast-paced, complex environment. With a strong focus on providing excellent care to Oncology patients, you will champion service improvement, promote professional development, and create an environment that empowers and enables staff to thrive. Your ability to navigate relationships at all organisational levels and deliver high-quality programmes will be central to your success in this role.

This post will be cross site across Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals.

This post is for 12 months. Internal applicants currently employed by ESNEFT will be offered on a secondment basis only.

You will lead the strategic development and delivery of our Oncology ACP service, ensuring it aligns with national and local standards. You will manage a team of advanced clinical practitioners, managing the progression of complex clinical projects while also driving forward your own initiatives. A key part of your role will be to foster collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring that transformational improvements are effectively implemented. You will be directly involved in leading quality improvement projects, mentoring staff, and delivering innovative care solutions that prioritise patient safety, experience, and outcomes.
