An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Cancer Practice Development Team as a Band 6 Nurse.
We are seeking a self-motivated and committed individual with a passion for teaching, assessing and supporting staff in practice. You should have significant experience in Oncology and/or Haematology. You will be competent in delivering Systematic Anti-Cancer Therapy. Strong leadership, management and communication skills are essential. You must also possess excellent interpersonal and clinical abilities with the capacity to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
This is a pivotal time to join the Cancer Practice Development Team and contribute to the advancement of Oncology and Haematology-focused education and training
Facilitating education at clinical and directorate levels to ensure effective, patient-focused care.
Developing and delivering Chemotherapy, Oncology, and Haematology-focused education and training.
Facilitating the recruitment, induction, orientation, and supervision of newly employed nursing staff within the Cancer Directorate.
Supporting the ongoing development of the existing nursing workforce.
