Summary

We run a 7 day service 08.00-17.00, excl Bank Holidays where we work in partnership with our neonatal unit to empower and educate our families to take their baby home sooner, reducing the risk of hospital acquired infection, separation and outgoings for the family. We work collaborately with our neonatal and transitional care teams to support early discharge and then carry out home visits regularly throughout our working week and support our colleagues on neonatal unit as and when is required.
