What our client is offering for the successful Transport Manager :
• £42,000 - £45,000 P/Annum
• Monday to Friday (0800 - 1700 Flexible)
• Permanent
• Benefits: 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension, parking
The Role - Transport Manager :
• Responsible for managing the logistics and supply chain activities of the business efficiently
• Ensure vehicles are maintained and MOT'd and adhere to legislation
• Plan maintenance for all vehicles
• Ensure drivers conduct daily walk round checks efficiently
• Ensure Drivers are scheduled in compliance to the EU regulations
• Ensure driver’s cards & VU’s are downloaded at the required intervals
• Ensure, Arrange & oversee “Driver CPC Training” program
• Accidents and incident management
• HR duties with regard to driver compliance, inductions and procedure
What we are looking for in a Transport Manager :
• Previous transport management experience - ESSENTIAL
• CPC holder - ESSENTIAL
• EU and UK Transport Legislation knowledge / driving compliance - ESSENTIAL
• IT Literacy: Excel, Word and CRM systems
• Flexible between Monday - Friday to work in a reactive environment
