Are you ready to make an impact in crime investigation? Join the Assessment and Investigation Unit as a PIP1 Investigator and work alongside police officers and staff to manage and progress criminal investigations. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in preparing case files, interviewing suspects and witnesses, and ensuring the welfare of victims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and undertake investigations using various techniques.
- Conduct interviews with suspects and witnesses to gather evidence.
- Support victims throughout the investigation and prosecution process.
- Prepare prosecution files in accordance with CPS requirements.
- Handle and process digital evidence to ensure its court readiness.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to complete investigations.
Requirements:
- Good standard of secondary education (including English and Maths).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in working under pressure in a team environment.
- Full UK driving license and ability to work flexible shifts.
- PIP 1 accreditation
