Summary
To handle service tickets as instructed by the EUC Manager. To visit customer locations or use remote tools to assist in troubleshooting or resolution of incidents. To configure and install hardware on receipt through co-ordinated projects. To work with remote Technical Support teams, bringing together standards and ideas. To install desktop software, and ensure desktop and any peripheral devices are fully compliant and meet Security standards. To be responsible for the repairing of peripheral equipment. To work to policies and procedures of the Directorate, assisting with amending those relevant to EUC as required. Delivery and installation of I.T. equipment throughout the Trust. Identify trends and issues of concern in order to suggest service improvements to the EUC Manager in order to improve the service. Understand the Business Continuity and disaster recovery plan for the Technical Operations team. Delivery and installation of I.T. equipment throughout the Trust. To ensure when on call you are available to respond and do so following the on call process. To undertake any other duties that could reasonably be required.
