Summary

Assistant Site Manager needed in Hackney, £16.90ph PAYE - Reference: RQ1369712

● Open and close the centre including all gates, windows, doors and fire escapes for the purpose of centre use, cleaning, maintenance and emergency services. All locking/unlocking of gates etc. must occur at appropriate times
● To be responsible for the key holding, security and health & safety aspects of the premises and its contents (including the kitchens)
● Ensure that all keys are kept in a safe place
● General site supervision, including prevention of trespass, ensuring that unauthorised parking does not occur, and in conjunction with the Office Manager, ensuring the safe use of the centre site at all times
● Patrol the site to check for hazards, damages and intruders and take all reasonable steps to minimise loss of or damage to property
● Report any breaches of security and acts of vandalism to the Office Manager, Children and Family Hub Manager and the police where necessary
● Deal with enquiries from staff, parents and carers and the public
● Provide reception cover as required and help parents and carers with buggies, pushchairs and general access to the centre

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
